For a romantic getaway just fly into Liberia, Costa Rica (LIB), hop into a private van and in one hour you’ll be on the beach. Many of our guests are “repeats”; they loved watching the monkeys as they sipped coffee on the upstairs bedroom deck, seeing the glorious sunsets from the vantage of their private patio and cooling off in their garden surrounded pool. Casa Los Olivos is located on Playa Langosta , just south of Blue Lagoon (8 minutes walking on the beach). It is nestled back from the beach so it provides privacy. Your “front” yard is a sandy hideaway with hammocks and chaise lounges. Walk 25 steps from the front door and watch the sun set. At high tide swim out front, at low tide enjoy the tidal pools. Granada, Nicaragua
We discovered neighboring Nicaragua while living in Tamarindo and now are aficionados! We own one lovely home located in the Colonial city of Granada. Casa Romantica is located in the historical district, very close to the Parque Centrale in the heart of the city. If you have an adventurous spirit and want to experience a small, friendly and beautiful Central American city then you should visit Granada. Casa Romantica is a very special home, located one street away from Casa Brisas in the same excellent location. The front “sala” (living room) faces the L shaped pool but is separated by a high glass wall that lets in light but allows you to close the door and enjoy the AC while reading or watching TV. The living room opens to the fully equipped kitchen and small dining area…it is has a spacious open floor plan. Swing in the hammock next to the pool as you take your afternoon siesta. There’s a small half bathroom downstairs. The sweeping stairs lead you to the bedroom with queen bed, AC and windows that overlook the pool. There is a cathedral ceiling and an unique headwall made of local stones.

Stowe, Vermont
When we are gallivanting around, we often rent our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Stowe, Vermont. Perhaps you’d like to rent it for a vacation in the mountains? It is located just 1 ½ miles from the center of Stowe village, right on the bike/recreation path and 6 miles from Stowe Mountain Resort and the best skiing in the east.
Our condo building only has 12 units; it is located on 4 acres of open lawn and large conifers, situated between the Little River and the Stowe Recreation Path. It is 1 ½ miles from the center of Stowe and only 6 miles from The Stowe Mountain Resort where you can ski or board the classic and historic Mt. Mansfield or the gentler, sunnier Spruce Peak. We often bike or walk into town on the six mile “Rec Path” for a cup of freshly brewed coffee in a cafe on Main Street where we just sit back and enjoy the beauty of this quintessential Vermont village.

We purchased this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo because we fell in love with the location and with the light filtering in through the large windows. We remodeled both bathrooms and installed radiant floor heating in each. One bathroom has an extra deep bathtub which is luxurious for après skiing soaking, and the other has a glass enclosed shower. There's a 36” Sony HD TV and Blu-ray DVD in the living room and a 26” flat screen TV in the master bedroom. There is also a Bose CD player and iPod docking station and hundreds of CD’s for your listening enjoyment.
Two small decks offer a great place to soak up the sun and there is an outdoor pool for summer use.
